 Join K103 July 3rd for the 8th Annual Parks and Rec Day, from 11am to 3pm at the Osage Center. Parks and Rec Day is a totally free day for kids of all ages. Here are a few things to see and do: Hang out with Tracker, Spacewalk Jump House and giant slide, Ping pong ball drop with prizes for every ball collected, and much more!! Plus, Spongebob Squarepants is coming! K103 will be there from 1pm to 3pm. It’s the 8th Annual Parks and Rec Day sponsored by the Southeast Missourian Junior, The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department, and K103!!

LIBERTYFEST – JULY 4TH |

 Libertyfest & Airshow, Cape Girardeau’s 4th of July celebration, will be held at the airport due to river flooding and forecasts of future flooding. You’ll still be able to enjoy all of the great activities planned! Don’t miss the airshow, music, fun and of course the spectacular fireworks display at Libertyfest AT THE CAPE GIRARDEAU AIRPORT! Live music starts at 3:30, and the airshow opening ceremonies are at 5:15…the kids can enjoy the Optimist’s Kids Zone all evening, and the fireworks display will start at 9:00! It’s all free! We’ll see you at Libertyfest on July 4th with the Southeast Missourian, NARS, Auffenburg Supercenter, Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau, RAM Power Environmental, Cape Air Charter, and K103!

 K103 wants to thank everyone who came out and donated at the 17th Annual K103 Blood Drive. We asked for your help and you responded! Almost 200 people came out to give the gift of life. Because of you, 450 lives will be saved! Thank you for giving the gift of life with the American Red Cross and K103!

Win a $1000 in the adult division, or a $500 savings bond from Ashley Furniture in the youth division. It’s your last chance Wednesday, July 16th at Bel Air Grill on Spanish St. in Downtown Cape. Registration begins at 5 pm, but hurry because we’re only taking the first 30 youth and first 30 adults. You’ll get your two minutes in the spotlight to wow the judges - just show up ready to sing your song to karaoke provided by Show-Me’s Randy Palen. It’s your last chance to get into the contest, Wednesday, July 16th at Bel Air Grill… you still could be the next Heartland Idol with Ashley Furniture, Verizon Wireless and K103!!!

Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, and more! Plus performances from Little Big Town on Wednesday, 38 Special on Thursday, Gary Allan on Friday, and Jason Aldean on Saturday!!!
