Libertyfest & Airshow, Cape Girardeau’s 4th of July celebration, will be held at the airport due to river flooding and forecasts of future flooding.  You’ll still be able to enjoy all of the great activities planned!  Don’t miss the airshow, music, fun and of course the spectacular fireworks display at Libertyfest AT THE CAPE GIRARDEAU AIRPORT!  Live music starts at 3:30, and the airshow opening ceremonies are at 5:15…the kids can enjoy the Optimist’s Kids Zone all evening, and the fireworks display will start at 9:00!  It’s all free!  We’ll see you at Libertyfest on July 4th with the Southeast Missourian, NARS, Auffenburg Supercenter, Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau, RAM Power Environmental, Cape Air Charter, and ESPN 1220 & 1470!
